About
The architecture firm, based in Las Vegas, specializes in large scale casino and hospitality projects. I joined the company's Atlantic City branch as part of its graphics team generating presentation materials and 3D visualization for upcoming projects. Closely coordinating with interior designers, architects, clients, and graphic designers was critial for me to help take projects from concept to completion.
Process
We'd iterate designs and present regularly to clients leading to a fast pace and quick turnarounds.
Organization
Friedmutter had a very "flat" corporate structure; promoting initiative and project ownership.
We would use 3D Studio Max and lighting plugin V-Ray to produce photorealistic, 3D visualizations for most presentations. The visualizations would be combined with architectural plans and interior designs using Adobe Creative Suite to generate presentation boards and booklets. For some projects we would create 3D fly-throughs showing interior and exterior spaces, and edit the videos in Final Cut Pro and After Effects.
